October Blues

I love spring. In my world, the outside becomes every shade and nuance of green.  Bright flowers begin to cheer us and annuals are planted that please and beautify our lives all summer and into fall. Autumn is pretty too, with its wonderful colours and bright crisp air.  But, unfortunately, it heralds winter.  We cleaned up the yard today.  Gone are the bright flowers, the pots spilling over with colour and the yard looks a little bare.  Neat but bare.

What does this have to do with my books?  Ah well, I have been editing and formatting, and both Backlash and Le Marionette are set in the fall, one in the Calgary area, and one in Paris. What connects these two very different cities?  Our intrepid group of operatives of course!

Backlash deals with a retaliation, a war in the mind of the perpetrator, and his evil deeds are difficult to understand, especially by those who thought that they knew him well.  What happened to change a loyal courageous man into a monster?

In Le Marionette, our heroes are given some information that indicates all is not as it appeared in the hellish backlash that occurred in Calgary, and they set out to find the truth.  But the truth was never meant to come to light and they open a very dangerous can of worms, which brings upon them the vengeance of evil. Will they survive this onslaught?
