Enter into another debate about language, almost a continuation of the last blog. This last book in the Spy Series takes place in Paris and I envisioned the puppet as a perfect symbol for the story. And, I liked its French name, le marionette. Perfect!
Apparently, not so. Those upon whom I rely for honest answers disagreed with me. They felt that most people who might read my book were English speaking, and would gravitate more towards an English title. In my mind, I thought that the name and my mental image of a marionette were ideal.
But, there comes a time to take the advice that you have requested and Le Marionette has now become The PUPPET. It’s official, ISBN and all.
