The biggest step in this process was to push the button and thus, make the book public. Was I ready to share my characters and stories with everyone else? Yes, that’s why this process, but in a tiny corner of my heart, I hated to let them go.
Now that the deed is done, I’m delighted to see Spies & Lies on Smashwords, it’s now in the premier catalog, and there will never be a shoulda, woulda, coulda floating around in the back of my mind.
I have jumped into the pond with both feet, and although they haven’t hit the bottom yet, I’m happily splashing away editing and formatting the next book in the Spy Series, Secrets.
Yes, I do realize much social media and publicizing must take place; I’m working on that. Twitter, on the other hand, is still a bit of a mystery. Perhaps some day soon, I shall understand the jargon…
