Today, I pushed the button.
I uploaded Spies & Lies. I will admit, here and now, that the entire process when viewed in the future, is far different from when you actually upload. You have made a decision, you have put yourself (or part thereof) out for the world to analyze. Scary.
But to quote someone very close to me, “So at least people may read your book. They can’t while it’s on your computer.” True, and good words of advice, given that it was written in 2002…
I have been a voracious reader since my age was still in single digits, and to have my words and the characters that I love out there, whether folks like them or not, is awesome. It is my hope that folks love these characters as much as I do.
